Global Option

After opening the existing company in the PEACH TREE SOFTWARE click on the ‘Options’ in the menu bar and select the sub head ‘Global’ Like

A window will open

In first Accounting Tab

The first option is of ‘Decimal Settings’. If we point the Manual Option it means I have to set the limit of the decimal places in the total amount of any head. If I select the ‘2’ the decimal after the amount will show only limited 2 places after decimal. Like if I enter 12.9998 it will only show the 12.99 with its original effect of 12.99 not of 12.9998.

If I choose the option Automatic. It will automatically places the decimal.

The next option is ‘Hide General Ledger Accounts’. If I do not choose the 1^st option it will not show the information of the ‘Accounts Receivable’. Same with the 2^nd option if I don’t choose this option it will not show ‘Accounts Payable’ and the last same Payroll Entry.

The 3^rd option is ‘Other Options’ . in this the first option is for the save option that you want that document which is not saved. The 2^nd option in this is Hide Inactive Records.

The 2^nd tab is ‘General’

The 1^st options in this is Improve Performance and the 2^nd one is Line Item Entry Display.

In the 3^rd option Smart Data there is an option of Automatic Field Completion. By this option it will show all the records of such as charts of accounts etc

And in the option Color scheme color scheme can be set.

The next tab is ‘Peachtree Partners’
If you select the 1t option in this it will allow your partner to run any application in this software.

If you select the 2^nd option the software will warn you that your partner is opening the accounts or any application regarding the software.

If you select the 3^rd option it is highly protected and it will not allow your partner to switch any application in this software. It is restricted.

The 4^th tab is ‘Spelling’. In this option you can make changes regarding to the spelling, capitalization etc.
